We are reaching out once again to let you know how much we care about your patronage and your safety and over the last few days we have been evaluating and making hard decisions about how we will continue to run our business and keep the structure of the lesson days and times the same during this crisis. We know how important music and the Rock School is to all of our students.
We are following the Governor's mandate to all non-essential businesses and balance the health concerns of our Staff and Patrons and consider your needs with allowing the business and our instructors the ability to earn a living through this unprecedented time.
We also do not want to disrupt the flow of learning or the emotional and therapeutic effects that music and the Rock School has for our students...especially with the anxiety that this situation is causing some. With this in mind we have been working hard to move our business to be able to function remotely until we can all come back to our precious ‘sanctuary’ at the School.
Effective Monday, March 16, we will be moving to a platform called ZOOM, that many schools use for face-to-face learning. It is simple, safe and enjoyable and should be a seamless way to continue lesson instruction from home. We will be contacting each of you to set this up and give you the simple instructions of how to be ready for your lesson time. Also, we will be available on call to address any scheduling adaptations or unique concerns you may have.
For the time being unfortunately, we will not be having band rehearsals but will be rescheduling the hours missed when we are allowed to be back together and thank you in advance for your patience until we have it all worked out and again, we WILL still be doing lessons but video conferencing so you do not have to leave your homes.
We will regularly be keeping you updated and thinking of all of our families in this time of uncertainty and hope we can bring some music and joy to you all to help keep your minds on something positive and fun. Let’s keep Rocking and Rolling everyone!
Our Very Best to you All,
John and Melissa Daley
